Development of small shipes detectors using polarimeter data SAR. Code 45NEWE2009, Funded by the Greek Ministry of Education and the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, under NSRF 2007- 2013, Programme "Competitiveness and Entrepreneurship" and Regions in Transition National Action Range "Strengthening Youth and Small Enterprises" ,of the action "Support for New Enterprises Research & Technological Development".

ICPR 2014 Contest on "Performance Evaluation of Indirect Immunofluorescence Image Analysis Systems"

Our team participated the contest in "Performance Evaluation of Indirect Immunofluorescence Image Analysis Systems" hosted by the 22nth International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR). The contest session was held on August 24th, 2014 at the Stockholm Waterfront in Sweden. The contest jointly organized by the University of Salerno (Italy) and the University of Queensland (Australia) with the support of the Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology (SNP)- Queensland Medical Testi Laboratory, (Australia).
Our team ranked in the third position in Task 1 (Cell Level Classification). Read more here:

ICIP 2013 Contest "Hep- 2 Cell Classification contest"

The Competition on Cells Classification by Fluorescent Image Analysis is hosted by the 20th IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), which is the premier forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of theoretical, experimental, and applied image and video processing. ICIP was held during September 15-18, 2013 in Melbourne, Australia. We ranked in the 9th position. For more details please refer to the contest report.

The 21st International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR) (2012), hosted the HEp- 2 Cell Classification Contest organized by *(se below)Prof. Gennaro Percannella
Our team {Ilias Theodorakopoulos, Dimitrios Kastaniotis, Prof. George Economou and Prof. Spiros Fotopoulos} with name KASTANIOTIS ranked in the 10th position (over 28 teams). Our method was also published in the BIBE 2012 Conference but you can also find more information under our project page here
